Levi x Reader-Alarm Clock

The morning rays crawled into the room through the window panes and cruelly hits your face making you furrowed your brows as your hands search for the blanket that slips off when you stir in your sleep during the night, when you successfully grab the blanket, a faint smile formed as you cover your face with the blanket, eyes still closed. You curled up like a ball and continue to sleep when a voice interrupts you.

   “_______” 

___ called for you several times with an attempt of waking you up which clearly isn’t working, You continue to sleep with no sign of getting up, the only movement is when you shift to a more comfortable position in your bed.

“ ______! Wake up!”  ___   sighed, her attempt of waking you up ends in an epic fail. You’re never the morning riser; you prefer to spend your day in the bed, letting a lovely morning slip pass you.

___ clears her throat and then she raises her voice mimicking a certain corporal. “Cadet _____! What do you think you’re doing?!”

You instantly snap your eyes open and jump off your bed, landing on the floor with a ‘thud’ and salutes. “I am sleeping, sir! Uh… no… I mean… I” You stuttered with your words when you hear chuckles. You glance towards the source of the chuckles and your eyes fall upon ___ which happens to be your bff.

___ bends over her knees, hands on her stomach, laughing like there’s no tomorrow. She sensed your gaze that is turning into a glare by the second and she held up her hand to wipe a tear in the corner of her eyes.

“Seriously, this never fails to amuse me. It works every time! Your little crush on…” ___ words was cut off by you covering her mouth with your hands.

Your face is as red as a tomato when a certain someone’s name is mentioned. “Don’t say it, ___” Only ___ knows about your secret crush on the corporal, well, you hope that only she knows.

“Why? I think it’s cute.” ___’s words come out as a muffled as your hands are still covering her mouth. You can see the mischievous glint in her eyes. “By the way, you’re already late for your chores duties with the corporal.”

You blink a few times, processing the words in your brain with your hands still in the air while ___ crept out from your grasp and instantly had her hands up covering her ears counting to three. By three, a piercing yell echoes through the whole building, the sounds of stumbling and tumbling could be heard after. You struggled to put on your uniform while biting on a toast given by ___ and rushed towards the door.

You found yourself standing in front of the corporal office moments later, you brush your hair with your fingers and you look down at your uniform inspecting it, hoping that everything is okay. After a few seconds, you nod in satisfaction and knock lightly at the door. You gulped waiting for a response. How can just standing in front of his office makes you nervous?

“State your name and business.”

“______ ______, I’m here to report for chores duties.” Your voice came out like a squeaky toy due to your nervousness. You wanted to bury your face in your hands and sobs.

You slowly open the door and creep in. The door creaks and your eyes darted towards the corporal; you know how much he hated that sound. Levi clicked his tongue upon hearing the sound of the door creaks. You stood in front of Levi’s desk, eyes on the floor.

“You’re late.”

You glance up and were met with a pair of steel eyes. You can feel the blush creeping through your cheeks. “I… uh… I’m…” You stammered with your words, trying to come up with an excuse. But, just by being in the presence of the great corporal, your brain malfunctions and stops working.

“You do realize why you’re here right?” He asks setting down the cup of tea he was sipping earlier and walks towards you.

He stood so close to you, you could feel his hot breath blew against your face which makes your heart race; you face down hoping that he doesn’t saw your face turning all shades of red. He pulled away, smirking, too bad you doesn’t see the smirk and the amuse glint in his eyes. Little did you know that the corporal enjoys seeing you panic and blushes whenever he came near you, he found this adorable.

“You’re here because of your tardiness.” He reaches for a piece of paper on his desk and hand it to you. “And here you are making the same mistake.”

You took a step forward in order to retrieve the paper which you assume is a list of chores you’ll be doing and accidentally tripped knocking over the cup of tea that is on the table. Tea spilled all over the desk and papers were soaking wet. Surprisingly, the tea is ice cold. You always thought Levi drinks hot tea.

Levi heaved a sigh and you hold your breath, waiting for him to lecture you or maybe give you chores that’ll last for a lifetime.

“Go and start with your chores.”

“Eh?” You tilted your head in confusion.

“Tch. Didn’t you hear me? Leave.” He spits out the words along with his infamous ‘tch’ and turn his back on you. “And don’t be late tomorrow.”

You stood up and hurriedly headed for the door. You clumsily presented a salutes and leave without another word. Once you’re outside Levi’s office, you buried your face in your hands, your face burns in embarrassment.

You work on your assigned chores the whole day with a depress mood and by the time you finish it’s already late at night. Everyone is probably fast asleep; you walk along the corridor, heading towards your dorm which you shared with ___, Mikasa and Annie. Your eyes started to feel heavy, exhaustion slowly dominates your body and you realized that you missed lunch and dinner; no wonder you felt so tired. You kneeled down and lean against the wall, the wall is cold yet soothing. You never realize that leaning against the wall can be so relaxing. Soon, you’re fast asleep and you felt yourself being carried. You struggled to open your eyes but fails. You let yourself being carried and placed on a comfy bed. Somehow, you felt a sense of security and that you could relax. So, you let yourself settle down and sleep.

You shivered due to the chill and snuggled closer to the warmth that is emitting from the pillow. Pillow? You let your hands to freely roam the pillow. Wait… if this is a pillow… then why isn’t it soft? You touch the suspicious pillow, letting your hands roam freely against it.

“_____. I see you enjoy the feeling of touching my body?”

You snapped your eyes open upon hearing the voice. In front of you is none other than the corporal himself. You felt yourself bursting through the maximum of your blushing meter.

“Why are you… and why am I…” Once again, you stuttered with your words as you blink your eyes in confusion.

Levi took this chance to close his distance with you and press his lips against yours. Your eyes widened in surprise as you felt yourself being held closed by a pair of strong arms. Your body pressed against his muscular chest. His fingers ran through your silky locks as you close your eyes waiting for him to deepen the kiss. But, he pulled away. You almost whine in protest, however, you just puffed up your cheeks and pout.

 Levi smirks, “I see that you are wide awake. Maybe I can cure your tardiness by being your alarm clock.” He went into the bathroom, leaving you on the bed, blushing at the thoughts of having Levi by your side every morning when you wake up.

Maybe having Levi as an alarm clock wasn’t a bad idea after all.
